Flavored Gourmet Sea Salts
Secret Stash is committed to providing premium gourmet sea salts to accentuate your style of cooking. Our salts are made of hand-harvested Fleur de Sel from the Re Island of France, where only the top layer of fine, light crystals are collected from the surface of salt beds. The waters of France’s Atlantic coast are among the cleanest in the world, and yield salts that are rich in minerals and that taste of the sea. This is a world apart from sea salts that are chemically-produced, and that merely contain sodium chloride.

Secret Stash Salts do not contain artificial flavors, preservatives, or anti-caking agents. Unlike the majority of flavored seasonings and infused salts in today’s market, our salts do not contain bitter, chemical-laced ingredients; nor are they merely just an assortment of shaken-up, dry components that incorporate a low-grade, processed sea salt.

We are passionate about where our ingredients come from, and just as concerned with sourcing high-quality components that reflect sustainability and social awareness. We source as many local and organic ingredients as possible, the majority from Seattle-area farmers markets. We believe that supporting local farmers and small-scale producers makes a difference. The food that we eat is related to everything from our consumption of fossil fuels to the viabilities of our local economy.

We too, are a small-scale, artisan salt partnership (of two) in Seattle. We are also a vendor at our local Ballard Farmers Market. Nonetheless, we strive to hand-craft a unique range of flavored salts to emphasize your natural ingredients, while also adding texture and sharpening your entrée’s aromatic quality. Our salts are begun from scratch with local ingredients, reduced sauces, and organic components such as hand-shaved Madagascar vanilla beans.
